DREAM
Hello,
I was going to the house I loved and lived in for several years as a teenager. It was completely re-done in timber and I was very sad about the way it looked. I was concerned about telling my Mom and Dad how much I disliked it.

INTERPRETATION
Hello Jo,
Thank you for sharing your dream. It is a wonderful example of how beautifully and honestly our Subconscious Mind communicates with us. All dreams originate in our Subconscious Mind. This can also be viewed as communication with our soul, the inner part of ourselves.
The house represents your state of mind. The house in your dream represents a state of mind from your past which you enjoyed and appreciated very much. You acknowledged that there was an upgrade to that state of mind, which in your opinion took away from the appeal of the house. The fact that you were concerned about telling your parents about this change signifies that you were concerned with what your Superconscious part of yourself (which your mother and father represent) would think about it.
APPLICATION
The dream is telling you that the “upgrade” which you perceived was made to your state of mind is not something you are fully aligned with. The innermost parts of you—those Superconscious aspects—are not in agreement with the changes made.
An example of such change in attitude would be an attitude of loving going to school in earlier years of life and then, as you grew older and had experiences which you might have viewed as negative or unpleasant, adjusting the original attitude towards going to school to no longer liking or appreciating it.
The dream is telling you that there is a need to tweak your attitude to its original state. Perhaps there’s a need to forgive or to go deeper and understand what really happened?
Each dream represents our state of consciousness from a day or two prior to having a dream. The closer attention we pay to the thoughts we’re having during our waking time, the easier we can see them being reflected in our dreams.
May your dreams illuminate the inner you…
